I found Troy’s Just Cat venison after my cat’s other favorite raw venison brand was suddenly taken off the market. We were devastated and tried many of the pre-packaged brands of raw venison, but my kitty is extremely picky. He rejected them all, including one where we just ordered plain ground meat and added the needed supplements. When we found Fetching Foods, we were so relieved because our cat immediately loved it; there was no hesitation, no transition time, he gobbled it down completely and continues to do so, to this day. Troy has always been super accommodating and easy to work with, as well. My only complaint is that because we live so far away, the shipping costs are significant, so we have to budget ourselves and substitute some more affordable (but less palatable) foods. Even so, Troy really tries to give us the best price possible and we really appreciate him for that! We notice such a difference when we offer the Fetching Foods vs; the others though. Our kitty licks his plate clean!

Love this company and the product! It always arrives frozen and in good condition. You can tell the quality of the meat is high. My last vet did not approve of my choice of diet and asked me to talk to a Clinical Pet Nutritionist. I did and they were great she called the company and talked to Tony. I have not yet gotten my cat, so no telling how she will like the food, although this is what she is currently getting, so I’m sure she will love it. This review is to compliment the shipping. The food shipped in less than a week after I ordered it. The delivery person dropped it outside my door and rang the doorbell. It was frozen solid with some dry ice still remaining. Will definitely use Fetching Foods again, both as a regular order and a little extra for when the other brands she likes fall through.

Duffy has chronic kidney disease and his kidney values decreased on raw venison and he gained weight. I then took him off briefly due to issues with constipation and his numbers shot up and he lost weight. As soon as I put him back on the venison (I add benefiber and olive oil) he began gaining weight and playing more often.

I’m stating my opinion on the quality of Fetching Foods’ products in general. For a number of years, from time-to-time, I have searched for what I thought would be the best food for my beloved fur babies. There were a couple products out there that I would rate as okay in quality, but I truly feel that Fetching Foods’ products by far surpass any others in quality. Some fur babies may be likened to some people who prefer junk food over best food, but I have not found better quality anywhere else in all of my searchings.

My very picky IBD cat absolutely loves Just Cat Venison! Once she tastes it, she won’t eat anything else, holding out until I get some thawed for her! It’s not a mushy finely ground pate, which she especially appreciates, loving a little more meaty texture. The food is SO wonderfully fresh, and I like that the calcium is from eggshell instead of ground bone, gentler on my senior girl with digestive issues. She also loves the large bites for oral health which bring out her inner tiger and clean her teeth. I’m hopeful that this top quality food will improve my baby’s health!
