Our USDA quail is a low-fat, healthy alternative to beef, pork and chicken. Able to fly only short distances, this ground bird is found in many parts of the United States, including the southwest. Quail are small, plump birds with brown to bluish-gray feathers. A plume on the top of their head bounces as they walk. If you’ve ever eaten quail, you know how delicious they are. Our quail is All-Natural human-grade sourced from Texas.
The quail is partially deboned and then ground. This may not be a good fit for cats on a low phosphorous diet or with digestive issues.
